Kim Kardashian Settles Lawsuit Against Old Navy

Remember Old Navy's advertising campaign last year featuring a model looking similar (okay, looking very similar) to Kim Kardashian?

Canadian singer-model Melissa Molinaro was hired for the spot titled "Super C-U-T-E." Well, Kim sued the clothing company indicating they were trying to mislead customers into thinking she was affiliated with them.

Old Navy's lawyer apparently stated at a hearing several months ago that Melissa (who also reportedly dated Kim's ex, Reggie Bush) was already famous and her appearance wasn't meant to showcase similarities to Kim.

As for Kim's lawyers? No dice, as they mentioned news outlets and fans alike stated on social media sites how much Melissa looked like Kim. As per the lawsuit, Kim sought unspecified damages and an order prohibiting the retailer from using a lookalike model in the future.

According to The Huffington Post, both sides have reached an agreement. As for the details, well that remains to be revealed. In a joint statement both sides indicated, "The lawsuit was resolved to the mutual satisfaction of the parties."
