Kirstie Alley Keeping Up With Dance Practices for 'Dancing With the Stars'

After wowing the judges, and the nation, Kirstie Alley raised the bar for this season's Dancing With The Stars. Kirstie arrived for rehearsal in L.A. yesterday to keep her name in the leader board. Kirstie and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, landed in second place with a score of 23, while Ralph Macchio and partner, Karina Smirnoff, snagged the top spot just one point higher with a score of 24.
Although Kirstie out-shined the majority of the other contestants, not everybody had nice things to say. George Lopez compared Kirstie to a pig on his late night show, Lopez Tonight on Tuesday night. George said "Before the show she went to the market. And then she had roast beef. " It didn't stop with one joke, he went on to say "She did a nice job... her little hooves tapping away." Hey George, a little jealous you aren't on the show?

The judges didn't seem to agree. Bruno Tonioli told Kirstie, "Your foot placement was the best of the night," while Carrie Ann Inaba said her performance was "Unbelievable — it had sizzle."
We're cheering for you Kirstie! Keep up the awesome work!
