If you’re a Kardashian — or someone who spends a lot of time with one — you are accustomed to a hectic, if not crazy, lifestyle warning to Kanye West.

But adding children to that family can be even more overwhelming, even if the parents are members of reality TV’s royal family. In fact, an insider tells OK! that Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are discovering that raising two kids can be, well, “a little chaotic.”

Make that chaos with a “K.” After all, as one longtime Kardashian friend puts it, “It’s the Kardashians. If life wasn’t a little crazy and a little chaotic... well, it just wouldn’t be them. Kourtney is the most level-headed and organized one, so if anyone can handle all the craziness, it is definitely her.”

But despite the praise for and confidence in Kourtney’s maternal abilities, she still feels massively stressed, mostly because she has been “non-stop” since the July 8 birth of Penelope, the insider notes. Another source says, “She did herself no favors by leaving the hospital just a few hours after the delivery, rather than resting up and enjoying professional help. But Kourt being Kourt, she wanted to get straight home and do things her way.”

And as any new mother can attest, having a baby means more love but less shut-eye. “She’s surviving on very little sleep — sometimes just a couple of hours a night if she’s lucky,” the source explains. “And she’s having to take care of two children. It’s intense and would be a lot to handle for anyone. She’s constantly exhausted and getting quite cranky.
