Kristen Stewart Dropped Out of 'Cali' Because She's 'Too Distraught' Over Losing Robert Pattinson

It was reported this morning that Kristen Stewart dropped out of her upcoming film project, Cali, which seemed a little mysterious.

K-Stew signed on as producer of the flick and hand-picked director Nick Cassavetes and co-star (and pal) Alex Pettyfer and seemed incredibly excited about playing the role of sexy and edgy Mya.

“I’m going to get into the best shape of my life,” she said. “I’m going to look like a stripper. I’m going to look like a porn star."

Well, the porn star fantasies have come to a screeching halt since she and Robert Pattinson split due to her infidelity. Now the Twilight actress is too busy moping to even think about acting.

“She is so distraught over Rob that she can’t focus on anything but getting him back,” a source said to a news outlet. “She can’t bare to be without Rob. She’s lost all interest in work and the projects that she was so passionate about just two weeks ago. Even though everyone has been pulling for her and trying to encourage her to stay on, the star’s main focus remains on Rob and what she can do to get him back."

The studio was even reportedly flexible with dates, wanting to give her sufficient time to heal, but she still told them to go ahead and look for a replacement, which they are.

Carey Mulligan and Amber Heard have both been eyed to fill the role, but no final decision have been made.
