Kristen Stewart landed in NYC yesterday as her promotional junket for new flick The Runaways continues. Kristen looked happy yesterday as she walked through JFK airport, rocking out to her iPod. This morning she made time to sign autographs for her adoring fans as she returned to her NYC hotel!

Kristen must be pumping herself up for the NYC premiere of The Runways (March 17) where she will take the carpet with co-star Dakota Fanning. Wonder if she's listening to Joan Jett?

Kristen's arrival to JFK caused a bit of a commotion! Photographers were falling over one another to get pics of the beloved Twilight star!

Kristen was flattered and laughed as more than one photographer fell over her, yelling, "Oh, yeah!"

Kristen supported Robert Pattinson at the premiere of his new movie Remember Me. Wonder if RPattz will return the favor Wednesday night?

He might be too busy in Europe filming Bel Ami. Sigh.

Kristen recently spoke with MTV news about taking on the role of the iconic Joan Jett.

"We both were really concerned about getting the music right; they have a very distinctive sound, it's not just about singing and trying to sound good, it's trying to sound like them — especially Joan, for me," she told MTV. "That growl that she does is something that I love so much; it was cool to have Joan and Cherie there on set every day, because there are so many things you couldn't know about their lives, and we didn't want to fill in the blanks with stuff we just made up."
