Kristen Stewart Working Hard To Make Relationship With Robert Pattinson Succeed

Kristen Stewart must be feeling great now that she has her man, Robert Pattinson, back and with the success of the final Twilight movie.

And although the troubled couple looked the picture of happiness as they went on their worldwide promotional tour, behind closed doors the starlet is still on an uphill struggle to get her beau back 100% after the embarrassment of her affair with married director Rupert Sanders.

"Rob is at a point where he sometimes ignores her," a source told Us. "He'll go out and won't respond to her calls or texts right away. Things will be strained for a while."

Kristen has apparently made emotional calls to Rob's older sisters to beg for their forgiveness and get them back on side and she and the British actor have been hanging "with his friends more."

"She knows she has to go along with it," the insider added. "She is working hard at the relationship."

Kristen was over in London for the Thanksgiving holiday to reconnect with Rob's family and they were seen arriving in New York City the following day.

Now that their commitment to Breaking Dawn - Part 2 is over, Robert is heading off to film Queen of the Desert with Naomi Watts while Kristen is close to signing on to the Ben Affleck drama Focus.

"If they are able to work out being apart while Kristen is filming with Ben or whomever, then they have a shot," the insider said adding that they will have to really work on their trust issues while working apart.
