NEWSKym Johnson's DWTS Diary: Starting a Fresh Season With David Arquette on a New Stage!

Hi, everyone, and welcome to my OK! blog! I'm so excited to be back for a new season! Every week, I’ll share all my behind the scenes stories as I take David Arquette from dapper actor to ballroom great on this season of Dancing With the Stars. So glad you'll be joining me!
I can't believe Dancing With the Stars season has come around again, it's crazy! I was so excited when I found out my partner is David Arquette. I'm a fan of his and I think he's amazing so I'm very excited to have him. We're already having so much fun.

He's really really motivated and he's one of the most stylish people I've ever met. He's always got an outfit on for rehearsal —he's all dressed up, with a tie and everything. He's very very stylish, and very enthusiastic about the whole thing. He even went out and bought himself 12 pairs of ballroom shoes! He got like different pairs to go with different outfits he wears. Usually Dancing With the Stars just gives you one pair of shoes to practice in, but David went out and got 12!
He's very, very motivated for this whole thing. I think that's going to be the key. He's going to be really hands on with the costumes and the wardrobe department. He's very interested in making suggestions. David is such a fun person, and he's got so much energy. But he's also very serious and wants to do a good job. That's a good balance he's got between having fun and doing good work.

David is also very graceul, he's elegant. I don't know what I was thinking he would be, but I'm surprised he's so graceful on the dance floor. We have a ballroom dance first, the Viennese Waltz, and it really suits him. I thought the Latin dances might be more suitable to him, but he's really doing well with the ballroom dances. So hopefully he'll be just as good in the Latin!
Right now I'm thinking Ricki Lake is going to be the one to beat, with her partner Derek Hough. From what I've been hearing, those two are definitely the ones to beat. I've seen Ricki dance — I went to Brooke Burke's birthday party and Ricki was on the dance floor a lot, busting her moves, and she's a natural!

OK! NEWS: JULIANNE HOUGH ON CHAZ BONO'S DANCING WITH THE STARS CONTROVERSY — "IT'S A NEW AGE"
I think it's so admirable that Chaz Bono is doing Dancing With the Stars. I think he's going to do really well, people will be surprised. He's just like anybody else, he wants to get out there an dance! I've seen him in rehearsals in the hallways, he's such a sweet guy and he's really having fun doing this. I think people should just be more understanding and kinder and just support him. Lacey is amazing with him, they're having a really good time. I'm excited to watch him dance!
After my scary neck injury last season, I spent the summer doing a little rehab and physical therapy and thank goodness, now I'm back to normal again, which is great. It's been pretty much all summer that i've been trying to get myself back to proper health and I'm feeling great now!
OK! NEWS: ELISABETTA CANALIS BARES ALL FOR PETA
I went yesterday to the set, and we've got a new stage! It's so amazing, it looks like an opera theater. It's got balconies, and it's much, much bigger and grander than ever before. It's spectacular! It's kind of a bit nerve-wracking, I feel like our home got a big remodel! he celebriteies won't know the difference, but all of us dancers got a shock when we walked in. It spices things up and it gives us more opportunity to do different things with choreography and using the stage in a new way. It's like a new playground for us!
Everyone knows David Arquette and I think people will be interested in how he'll do. he's very graceful, I think people will be pleasantly surprised with what we do. I haven't seen anyone else's routines yet, it's going to be a very intresting show, with a lot of excitement!
