Lady Gaga is known for her outrageous, stunt-filled performances: From her outlandish outfits to her seductive dance routines, she’s a true show-stopper. But will she tone down her dramatic antics for the Queen of England? The “Bad Romance” singer is performing in front of British royalty tonight at the Royal Variety Performance. “Nothin like a whiskey, fish + chips in the UK to prepare for the Queen,” Gaga Tweeted Friday.
The 23-year-old songstress is thrilled to be part of the Blackpool fundraiser, which kicks off tonight.
However, a royal aide has revealed to OK!’s sister magazine in the U.K. that the Queen may not even know who the “Paparazzi” songstress is.
“I don’t know if the Queen or Prince Phillip have listened to GaGa, or are familiar with her,” the source said.
GaGa joins other performers Michael Buble, Miley Cyrus and Whoopi Goldberg for the annual variety show.
Britain’s Got Talent winners Diversity are also due to perform at the bash, hosted by comedian Peter Kay.
Gaga has been a busy bee across the pond. She was in London to perform at the Jingle Bell Ball and then at last night’s elimination episode of U.K. reality hit The X Factor.
