Lance Bass knows a thing or two about making it in the music business — how could we forget about *NSYNC? So on today's episode of Access Hollywood Live, the former boy bander let everyone know who he's voting for after the final three The X Factor finalists perform on tonight's episode.

"It’s so hard to predict who the winner’s gonna be, just because America’s so fickle and every day, with a story in a paper, it can change everyone’s mind, but I think the frontrunner’s gonna be Melanie Amaro," Lance, who sat in for Billy Bush on Access Hollywood Live today, confessed.

But just because he thinks Simon Cowell's prodigy Melanie will walk away with the $5 million prize doesn't mean he doesn't have faith in the other two contestants, Chris Rene and Josh Krajcik

"The way Chris has grown from the first show until now is incredible and… it’s people with backstories that America definitely votes for," Lance admitted, before talking about Josh's incredible talent. "He’s amazing," Lance said of the rocker. "Any time you choose a Beatles song, it just gets you extra brownie points in my eyes. But just amazing. Just listen to his voice — it’s so raspy, but so clear and perfect."

But still, Lance has a soft spot for Melanie, who he thinks could be the next Beyoncé!

“Powerful singing and it’s perfect timing now that Beyonce’s taking a little vacation time," Lance said of Melanie. "Here’s another powerful singer to come step right into her place. And I love that she has this accent now… I love the accent,” Lance added.
