After nearly four years of marriage, Landon Donovan has filed for divorce from Bianca Kajlich citing irreconcilable differences. During their marriage they were separated for one year, however the L.A. Galaxy forward officially filed divorce papers on Tuesday. Landon is seeking spousal support and legal fees from Bianca.

It's been a big month for splits ranging from Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds to Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter and now the World Cup hero and actress from Rules of Engagement. In a joint statement the couple indicated, "We remain the closest of friends and will always be important parts of each other's lives."

Rumors circulated this summer of a possible reconciliation after the World Cup but that hit the sidelines when Landon encountered false accusations from a British woman for being the baby daddy to his child.
