The man behind Britney Spears' big comeback is her longtime manager Larry Rudolph, and now he is taking on re-launching the career of the fresh-out-of-jail-and-rehab starlet — Lindsay Lohan.
"She’s very motivated, and she’s in a good place now," Larry Rudolph tells OK! on the red carpet of the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday. "I really think it’s going to work."
Lohan's first step back was playing the role of disciplinarian to VMA host Chelsea Handler in the opening sketch, where she demanded to know if she had been drinking, and essentially gave the late night show comedienne advice as to why drinking is bad for her career.

"When you've got that much talent — you can never count somebody like that out," Larry continues. "She’s incredibly smart, she’s incredibly talented, and she’s a star. She has everything she needs."

When Rudolph was asked if the 24-year-old actress would be able to succeed at bouncing back á la Brit-Brit, he responded confidently: "Yeah, absolutely!"
