LeAnn Rimes won't face criminal charges for the alleged hit-and-run fender-bender she was involved in last month in Brentwood, Calif., TMZ reports. She was also in a separate incident just yesterday, when she accidentally rear-ended a Mercedes.
The LAPD questioned the country star at her home on August 21 -- right after she was accused of fleeing the scene. TMZ says LeAnn claimed she wasn't aware she'd hit the car, and cooperated with police. The case was officially closed yesterday.

As for yesterday's incident, her rep says: "Due to the overzealous and very dangerous paparazzi following her, LeAnn was involved in a minor car accident. The police were called and fortunately everyone is safe."
