Based on a recently published report outlining Hollywood's highest earning actors, looks like The Titanic star is rolling in the dough. Last year Leonardo DiCaprio earned $77 million! Yes, that's just last year alone. Baby got bank!

After speaking to agents, lawyers, producers and let's not forget industry insiders, Forbes compiled its list based on earnings to estimate what the actors earned for the year ending May 1.

Considering Leonardo had a blockbuster year with two hits, Inception and Shutter Island, is it really that surprising to see him land at numero uno on the list? Both movies earned more than $1 billion globally.

According to the Forbes recap, he always lands a hefty chunk of change upfront to appear in movies and he negotiated a sweet deal for both movies to get a robust share of the profits.

Not too shabby in second place, Johnny Depp came in behind Leonardo having raked in $50 million last year. Rounding out the top five included Adam Sandler in third place with $40 million, Will Smith in fourth with $36 million and Tom Hanks in fifth with $35 million.
