If you're wondering what attracted Australian hottie Liam Hemsworth to teen sensation Miley Cyrus, now's your chance to find out. Liam appears on the March cover of Details magazine and reveals what made him fall for his off-and-on-girlfriend of two and a half years.

"She makes me really happy," Liam tells Details of Miley, 19, whom he fell for while shooting Nicholas Sparks' romance flick The Last Song in 2009. "When you start shooting, you want to be professional, but when you're filming those scenes with someone and pretending to love them, you're not human if you don't feel something," he adds, "What happened, happened."
So, is Liam saying it's hard not to fall for his Hunger Games co-star, Jennifer Lawrence? Not so much. The actor insists that he's just going with the flow and trying to prepare for "the Twilight effect."
"I've never met Robert Pattinson," Liam says of R-Patz, who launched into the spotlight after starring as Edward Cullen in a little franchise called The Twilight Saga. But, in Liam's mind, he's not really into taking advice from Rob, Kristen Stewart or Taylor Lautner about the fame he's about to experience. "What do you say to someone?" he says. " 'Your life's gonna change.' Okay. Thanks. Cool."

Liam stars in The Hunger Games as Gale, who faces heartbreak when his girl Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) is sent to compete in a killer Olympics-like contest and meets another hunk along the way, Peeta (Josh Hutcherson).

"Gale is someone who wants to stand up to this thing but can't," Liam says. "He's pretty powerless."
