A guest spot on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation may not be what you’d expect from theater and film actor Liev Schreiber, but he’s all set to play forensics investigator Michael Keppler on the hit show. Schreiber, 39, is better known for tackling Shakespeare, but he’s game for tackling television baddies instead. ”I love playing cops and robbers. I wouldn’t be an actor if I ever lost that,” says the Tony award winner. Schreiber’s four episode CSI stint begins Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on CBS, or if you prefer, you can catch him (along with real-life love Naomi Watts) in The Painted Veil, in theaters now.
