Tom Petty has passed away at the age of 66, CBS News reports.

The rocker was reportedly discovered unconscious and not breathing in his room on Sunday night. The singer was in full cardiac arrest.

He was rushed to UCLA Santa Monica Hospital where he was put on life support.

Unfortunately, the Free Fallin' singer had no brain activity today and a decision was made to pull life support.

He had just finished a world tour last Monday.
