According to Billboard, Wayne's new song, "Celebration," debuted at No. 82 this week, which marked his 109th tune to chart, passing Elvis' 108 hits between 1958 and 2003. The rapper made his first mark on the charts in July 1999, when he was 18 years old.

Lil Wayne's rockin' record could partly be attributed to countless features on other artists' songs. Only about 40 percent of his total stems from his solo hits, while the remainder represent his appearance on records by other entertainers, like Destiny's Child and Birdman.
All 108 of Elvis' chart hits were his own works. The late rock iconr still holds the title for most Hot 100 entries by a lead solo artist.
