Lindsay Lohan Channels Jesus Christ on Cover of French Magazine
Feb. 11 2010, Published 7:33 a.m. ET
Lindsay Lohan is definitely an experimental person — dabbling in different religions, fashion choices and has been involved with both men and women romantically. Now Lindsay is focusing her energy on her Roman Catholic roots and getting in touch with her inner spirituality by posing as a Jesus Christ-like figure on the cover of a French fashion magazine. The Mean Girls star appears on the cover of the latest edition of Purple, wearing a long white gown with a plunging neckline and a crown of thorns. Her arms are outstretched like Christ after his crucifixion.
Lilo wears a cross on her neck sometimes, and was raised Roman Catholic, but Christ-like pose on the magazine has ignited some negative sentiments among the Catholic community.
"Not only is the pose inappropriate, the timing is offensive" because the sacred season of Lent starts next week, Bill Donohue, head of the Catholic League, told Politics Daily blog.

Donohue also added that the "spiritually homeless" Lohan recently Tweeted that "i'm all about Karma...what goes around comes around."
"If she believes that, then it behooves her to apologize to Christians before it's too late," he continued.
