Jan. 9 2008, Published 3:35 p.m. ET
After yesterday’s reprieve, Lindsay Lohan is in trouble again: A woman who was involved in Lohan's July 2007 car chase is suing the actress for emotional trauma.
Tracie Rice was in the car with Michele Peck, the mother of Lohan’s assistant who had recently quit, as Peck was being chased by Lohan. Rice claims that she lost a well-paying job and suffered emotional trauma as a result of the incident.

The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages, as well as payment of medical and other expenses.
Rice alleges she thought she was being carjacked at the time of the incident and believed that her life was in danger. She also said that Lohan’s high-speed pursuit of them put her at “extreme risk of death or injury.”
