First a surveillance tape, now an auction. The $2,500 necklace that Lindsay Lohan allegedly stole from a jewelry store, and that has landed the socialite back in court under grand theft charges, is headed to the auction block.
"We have decided to sell the diamond necklace through auction, and give the proceeds to charity," a rep for the Kamofie and Co. jewelry store announced, via TMZ.

“We invite the public to make suggestions as to the most appropriate charity to receive the benefit of the sale’s proceeds," the statement continued.
The rep also maintained that the auction would occur after the criminal case is resolved.
Lindsay heads back to court tomorrow, and according to TMZ, she will most likely not accept the plea bargain which will include jail time.

The necklace remains at the L.A. County District Attorney's office where it will stay as evidence until the case is closed.
