Lindsay Sued for SUV Spree

Oct. 22 2008, Published 4:29 a.m. ET
Over a year after Lindsay Lohan jumped into an SUV that didn't belong to her and allegedly chased her freshly-fired assistant, three men who were in the car with her are suing the Mean Girls star for battery, false imprisonment and negligence.
Lilo, who was arrested that night in July 2007 after the woman driving the car she was chasing led her to the police station, eventually pled guilty to driving under the influence of cocaine.

The recently rehabbed star's lawyer, Ed McPherson, says the suit is absurd, according to the Associated Press. He also claims the men had fun during the car ride, and questions why they waited so long to file their suit.
"It just doesn't make sense,'' the AP quotes him as saying. ''They had ample opportunity to get out of the car. 'It's three guys who want to get a lot of headlines and want to make some money.''
