Lisa Rinna Reveals Her 'DWTS' Picks

Fresh from an appearance on Live With Regis and Kelly, Lisa Rinna hits Planet Hollywood Times Square today for a handprint ceremony celebrating a career that has included TV stints on Melrose Place and Days Of Our Lives, a Broadway role in Chicago, books Rinnavation and Starlit, fitness DVDS like Lisa Rinna: Dance Body Beautiful and a women’s clothing boutique called Belle Gray. Oh, and reality TV.
While she chooses to go silent when asked about her brief stint on Celebrity Apprentice, she’s happy to sound off when it comes to Dancing With The Stars.
The married mom of two, 47, made it through to round seven in 2006. Now she offers up her favorites - and words of advice - for those on the show this season.
Her picks for the finals? Ralph Macchio, Kirstie Alley and Hines Ward.
“Well, I love Ralph Macchio,” she tells me. “I loved him as a Karate Kid. I think he is such a shining light on that show.”

She continues, “I love Kirstie anyway. Her joie de vivre about life. She’s so confident, and my God, she’s 60 and she looks amazing. She owns it. Who knew she would be such a great dancer?! The connection she has with Maks Chmerkovskiy … she’s doing an amazing job, as is Ralph. Ralph blows me away. And Hines reminds me of Emmitt Smith, and has that smile and charm. Those are the three that I see in the finals.”
Having been there before, Lisa offers up her DWTS advice.
“It’s hard,” she confesses. “It’s super, super, super hard. I would say ‘don’t be too hard on yourself, don’t take those judges too seriously or take it too personally because you can’t.’ And try to have as much fun as possible. Try to go in there and do your best, and have fun.”
One way Lisa keeps dancing in her life is through former partner Louis Van Amstel’s (currently dancing with Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett) La Blast dance classes.
“They’re fun, and there’s no better cardio!”
