While Charlie Sheen is recovering from his most recent bender, he is not staying in hiding. The star has been very open about his rehab process, and now he is ready to move on and claims to be 100 percent sober. This morning the troubled actor called into The Dan Patrick Show this morning to talk visiting the UCLA baseball team, and his eagerness to return to the set of Two and a Half Men.
Charlie, who sounded hoarse during the show, quipped, "I sound like Demi Moore in her 80s or something."

"I went back to work, and I was banging on the stage door. 'Hello?! Where is everybody?' I don't know what happened. I guess they're closed. Nobody told me. I figured I was supposed to go back to work 'cuz I'm ready and nobody told me," he told Dan Patrick.
Charlie is currently on hiatus from the set of his hit CBS show, per the network's request.
"Forced hiatus. They said, 'You get ready and we'll get ready.' And I got ready and went back and nobody's there. I don't know what to tell you, Dan. Nobody is there."
"I don't know what to tell you, man. I'm here and I'm ready. They're not. Bring it, you know?"
So when will shooting resume?
"I believe August of 2014 at this pace. I don't know, it's supposed to be the 28th or the 29th. That's what it is! It's the 29th of the non-leap year."

Charlie maintains that he is sober and ready to move bast his latest misstep.
"Oh, yeah. One hundred percent, one hundred percent. Peeing clean. I just said pee on your show, sorry man. I feel great, man. I feel great. I am here and ready…I'm actually hungry."
Hungry for more challenging acting gigs that is.
"Because you do something like this Two and a Half Men and you get into kind of a, I don't want to say a redundant pattern, but it gets very sort of, uh, redundant. And you gotta find things about it to reignite the passion. The passion can always be there if the pilot light is still burning."
He also claims he would not make a false start if he wasn't ready to get back to set.
"Yeah. I'm a man of my word, I have a contract. They said get your act together and I did. I think just maybe it was a timing thing. I didn't think it was going to happen this fast. Check it, it's like I heal really quickly. But I unravel pretty quickly. So get me right now, guys."
