Gwyneth Paltrow can now add country singer to her list of accomplishments. The actor/cook/mom/musician's wife sounds great in the title track "Country Strong" from the upcoming Nashville-set drama of the same name, in theaters Dec. 22!
“I won’t stay down long/Because I’m country strong,” the 37-year-old actress belts out during the track.
To help her prepare for her role, Gwyn's hubby — Coldplay frontman Chris Martin — taught her to play the guitar, according to Just Jared.
In the drama Country Strong, Gwyn plays alcoholic singer Kelly Canter who is pulled out of rehab by her manager husband played by Tim McGraw.
The film follows her career resurrection tour. Does anyone hear Oscar buzz? (Think Reese Witherspoon in Walk the Line!)
