Lady Gaga keeps leaking tracks, leading up to her hotly anticipated Born This Way album release on May 23. She has just released the audio for her latest single, "Edge of Glory," to the delight of Little Monsters everywhere, and the soon-to-be hit keeps in theme with its fellow pop-like dance tracks on BTW. And it also tells a love story.
"Edge of Glory" opens with Gaga's vocals over a keyboard, as she sings, "I need a man who thinks it's right when it's so wrong/ Tonight, yeah, baby, right on the limits/ Where we know where we both belong/ Tonight."
MTV notes: "The song's production harks back to late '80s, early '90s adult-contemporary pop, when big choruses where the norm."
Bruce Springsteen's right-hand man and member of the E Street Band Clarence Clemons is featured in a sax solo right in the middle of the pop ditty, as Gaga sings, "I'm on the edge with you." Gaga also collaborated with Clemons on the song "Hair" for BTW.
