Country singer Luke Bryan truly appreciates life with wife Caroline, whom he wed in 2006.

“I love every single, absolute, doggone thing,” the Do I singer, whose album Doin’ My Thing hits stores tomorrow, tells me. “We were college sweethearts, we were broken up for 5 ½ years and we were lucky enough to get back together. She was always the person I wanted to be with, so I feel very lucky it happened that way. I pinch myself on a regular basis.”

What is it like to lose that love, and then get it back?

“Oh, it’s awful!” the Georgia-born singer, 33, exclaims. “She was a lot younger than me, so when I got out of college, she had quite a lot of college left, so we went our separate ways because it was the thing to do. When we finally got back together, we knew the second from the first time we saw each other that we would get married, start a family and all that. It was pretty cool.”

Evidence of their deep devotion can be found in their precious son, Thomas “Bo” Bryan, 18 months.

“He just learned how to blow kisses and it rocks when he does it because he smacks real loud,” Luke says.

The hands-on dad loves to wrestle on the floor with his little guy.

“It’s the best thing ever. It makes life so fulfilling. It’s what life’s all about.”

As a family, Luke believes it’s important to dream together.

“We like to go riding through the country a lot, take Bo and just visit and talk. We try to do that once a week, and go look at dream farms. We ride out to Leipers Fork and look at big horse farms. Maybe one day we’ll get to have something like that.”
