Mackenzie Phillips Busted for Drugs

'70s TV star Mackenzie Phillips is in police custody after she was arrested at LAX for allegedly trying to take heroin and cocaine through aiport screening.
Officers say Phillips, 48, was being screened by TSA this morning around 10 a.m. PT when some baggies and balloons believed to contain heroin and cocaine were recovered.
The One Day at a Time star has had a long history of drug abuse, but overcame her addictions in 1992. In recent years, she's spoken openly about her struggle to stay sober and has made guest appearances on shows like Crossing Jordan, 7th Heaven and Beverly Hills, 90210, where she played a drug intervention counselor.
