Maddox Jolie-Pitt is a Movie Buff!

Maddox Jolie-Pitt is stepping out around town catching all the latest box office blockbusters. Yesterday afternoon Maddox, 8, along with dad Brad Pitt, 46, went to a showing of Avatar in AMC Loews Kips Bay Theater in NYC, Hollywood Life reports.

Sources tell Hollywood Life that Brad and Maddox had a great time bonding. They played in the theater’s video game arcade area before heading into the film.

James Cameron's epic 3-D hit is rated PG-13 — so it's a good thing Mad had his dad along!

Earlier this month, Maddox went to the premiere of Clint Eastwood's Invictus, another PG-13 film, with dad and mom, Angelina Jolie.

The mommy of six is currently filming Salt in NYC.
