Madonna Disses Fan's Gift on Camera: "I Absolutely Loathe Hydrangeas"

Madonna graciously accepted some flowers from a fan during a press conference at the Venice Film Festival, but was caught on camera after expressing just how much she hated the hydrangeas she received.

While Madonna was promoting her new film, W.E., a fan came up to her press conference table and handed her a bouquet of purple hydrangeas as a gift.

While the singer/actress smiled and said "Thank you," she shoved the flowers under the table after he left.

"I absolutely loathe hydrangeas, "Madonna leaned over and told the woman next to her. "He obviously doesn't know that."

Ouch!

It looks like if you want to give the Material Girl a gift, make sure you know her likes and dislikes first.
