Madonna, along with John Mellencamp, The Ventures, Leonard Cohen and The Dave Clark Five, were chosen as 2007 inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

 

The five nomineees were chosen by a panel of 600 industry insiders. The induction ceremony will be held March 10 in New York.

 

 

In order to be considered for induction, an artist must have issued a first single or album at least 25 years before nomination.
