Madonna Makes Another Dig At Lady Gaga: "She's No Britney Spears!"

It's pretty clear that Madonna isn't a huge fan of Lady Gaga. Granted she thinks the superstar is a great influence on the gay community, but, if she had it her way, Madonna would take Britney Spears over Gaga any day.

"It seems genuine," Madonna tells The Advocate of Lady Gaga's adoration for her "Little Monsters." "It seems natural, and I can see why she has a young gay following. I can see that they connect to her kind of not fitting into the conventional norm. I mean, she's not Britney Spears. She's not built like a brick sh**house." Whoa! 

Madonna, who famously kissed Britney and Christina Aguilera on stage at the MTV VMAs in 2003, really doesn't have much else to say about the Gaga-phenomenon.

"She seems to have had a challenging upbringing," Madonna adds, "and so I can see where she would also have that kind of connection, a symbiotic relationship with gay men.”

But when asked what she really thinks about the pop sensation, Madonna replied, coolly, "I have no thoughts. What's the question?"
