Let's face it, for non-football fans the Super Bowl is a reason to tune into savvy commercials and the highly anticipated halftime show (and for football fans, it's a huge entertaining bonus to an already thrilling game). Luckily, last night was no exception as Madonna took center stage to vogue like she's never vogued before!

The icon opened her 12-minute show with "Vogue," as pointed out by Radar Online, and then was joined by LMFAO for "Party Rock Anthem" and Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. for "Give Me." As for the closing number, she ended with "Like a Prayer" with Cee Lo Green.
Aside from Madonna's Cleopatra costume with Roman soldiers-turned-dancers carrying her to the stage, perhaps one memorable (or not so memorable) moment actually came from M.I.A. as she gave the crowd her middle finger!
Anyway, it's hard to believe this was the first Super Bowl appearance for the Material Girl who was decked out in gladiator garb and vicious high heel boots. As Madonna also rocked out to her new single, "Give me All Your Luvin'," she moved and grooved on stage which made us wonder if everyone can only look this good in our fifties!
As Madonna faded during the last number and the words "World Peace" illuminated the field, perhaps it could be deemed a family-friendly performance sans any shockers (M.I.A.'s gesture aside).
What do you think of Madonna's performance — thumbs up or thumbs down?
