Pop superstar Madonna has filed a lawsuit against the management company of her luxury Manhattan building, claiming the cold-hearted board won't let her purchase the neighboring apartment.
According to court papers, the singer believes that the co-op's board of director's wrongfully blocked her purchase of the apartment at 1 W.64th St., overlooking Central Park. The material girl and her film director hubby Guy Ritchie already owns one apartment in the building and is requesting the court allow the sale to go through — and also to rule that the board must pay her legal fees.
