Malin Akerman shone last night at the Tribeca Film Festival where she stood alongside her co-stars Ryan Phillippe and Taylor Kitsch to debut their flick The Bang Bang Club. We've been seeing a more serious side of Malin lately since her funny roles in 27 Dresses and Couples Retreat. While celebrating the flick, Malin dished about her excitement over the movie and her upcoming roles!
Making women everywhere jealous, Malin had to shoot a few love scenes with Ryan for the flick.
“He’s a wonderful guy. We had such a great camaraderie and a great bond so it felt really comfortable." she explained to reporters. But no worries, Amanda Seyfried fans — there's nothing going on romantically. "Not as good as my husband!" Malin laughed.
The platinum blonde bombshell is gearing up to lead in the highly anticipated drama Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story. Malin will play the role of Linda Lovelace, a role that Lindsay Lohan was at first slated to play.

“I’m really excited to do the film. I think it’s going to be an amazing journey," Malin revealed. "It’s an exploration of a battered woman and her relationship with her husband, so I think it’s going to be incredibly challenging and amazing. I’m actually studying a lot about battered women. We all have that big question mark as to why they’d stay in a relationship. Why don’t they leave? And it’s so complex.”
How could anybody gear up for a role as complex as Linda Lovelace? Malin tells OK! she's been “reading a lot on the internet. Google is a fantastic thing!”
