In the wake of the Arnold's revelation that he fathered a love child with the family's former housekeeper, Mildred Patricia Baena, Maria has made the decision to end her 25-year-marriage officially, and with the help of her famed L.A. celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser filed divorce papers this afternoon.
Maria cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the divorce, Radar Online reports.
She also petitioned for joint custody of the couple's minor children, Patrick Schwarzenegger, 17, and Christopher Schwarzenegger, 13.
She also asked for spousal support and asked that Arnold be denied spousal support, Radar reports. Maria requested Arnold pay the attorneys fees for both parties involved in the divorce.
