Mariah Carey & Gwen Stefani Will Kick Off NFL Season With Special Performance in NYC

Are your ready for some football? The NFL's regular season kickoff is right around the corner, and so, too, is all the hoopla!

And by that we mean Mariah Carey and Gwen Stefani along with No Doubt will perform on Sept. 5 at Rockefeller Plaza in NYC in an hourlong pregame show leading into Week one's premiere game, when the defending Super Bowl champions host their hated rivals, the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium in New Hersey, according to The Huffington Post.

Both entertainers sound pretty excited, and Mariah indicated she hopes to make the event "even more festive." The timing couldn't be better for Mariah, whose new single, "Triumphant," dropped last week.
