Mariah & Nick Light Up Letterman

Mariah Carey, accompanied by arm candy, hubby Nick Cannon, signed autographs for fans and posed for pictures before her appearance on the Late Show With David Letterman last night in NYC. Mimi is in town to promote her new movie Precious, a drama based on the novel Push by Sapphire. Mariah said she had an emotional response to the book. "I read the book, cried my way through it, then I read it again and ever since then, I’ve just been, like, 'That book was incredible.' " She stars opposite newcomer Gabourey Sidibe, and Monique in this provocative, heart-wrenching film.
