Mark Wahlberg Sends Becks a Panty Note

Marky Mark is desperate to get David Beckham into his Calvins.

After getting more than an eyeful of the soccer god in his new for Emporio Armani, the original king of skivvies, Mark Wahlberg, who famously posed in some skimpy undies for Calvin Klein early in his career, was left speechless and impressed at his heir apparent's complete package.

Once he recovered, sources tell OK! that the Oscar-nominated actor sent the soccer superstar a congratulatory note on a job well done, complimenting the 32-year-old on how "healthy" he looked in the black and white, spread-eagle shots.

But before Becks' ego could get too big, the source says, "Mark reminded him that Calvin’s are what the real Americans choose to wear!"

The chiding didn't burst David's bubble though — Mr. Posh is said to be thrilled he received the seal of approval.
