The actor also known as the husband of Sarah Jessica Parker recently missed some events in the Hamptons because of the surgery, as reported by The New York Post.

Rest assured, according to his spokesman, he'll be just fine. He told the Post, "Matthew had a sports injury some time ago. He pulled something in his back and recently underwent routine surgery. It was a simple procedure, he is fine and is up and about and back at home."
Good thing because his latest gig is appearing in the musical on The Great White Way, Nice Work If You Can Get It, next spring.
