After being together since 2006, Matthew McConaughey has finally popped the question to longtime girlfriend Camila Alves.
Matthew made it official on Christmas Day and announced it to his fans on his Twitter with a picture of the happy couple kissing in front of the Christmas tree: "Just asked camila to marry me, #MerryChristmas http://say.ly/Jqz1bpT."

This news doesn't come as a total surprise as Matthew told GQ in March, "I found the woman I wanna do it with, the woman I wanna make a family with, hopefully live our life out together." So it was only a matter of time before this day would come.
