Meghan Markle has a stylish way of keeping bad spirits away while on her Royal Tour with her family. As RadarOnline.com has learned, the Duchess of Sussex, 38, has been wearing a £450 ($550) evil eye necklace during her time in South Africa.

The delicate piece by Alemdara all-necklaces is 18-carat gold with a blue stone and goes with every elegant or casual outfit in the former Suits actress’ wardrobe.

Alemdara pieces are designed to be worn day in, day out. Each is handcrafted in the ancient markets of Istanbul, using techniques that have been passed down through generations.

“All of our pieces are designed to be worn for many different occasions. We find that once people have bought one piece they wear it forever and end up adding to their collection,” said Mariella Tandy, the founder of Alemdara.

Meghan — who is in South Africa with husband PrinceHarry and baby son Archie Harrison — was spotted wearing the necklace with a black and white dress while visiting the Nyanga township in Cape Town. There, the new mom gave an empowering speech and looked happy while dancing with locals.

“May I just say that while I’m here with my husband as a member of the royal family, I want you to know from me I am here with you as a mother, as a wife, as a woman, as a woman of color and as your sister,” she said at the time.

Meghan — a yoga lover — has previously been spotted wearing the evil eye.

Last December, after her fallout with father Thomas Markle, she was pictured wearing a rose gold ring with the same symbol. The evil eye is said to cast away malicious stares that provoke misfortune.
