Amid outrage from those appalled that NBC would even consider giving airtime to the radio host — who maintains that the Sandy Hook school massacre was a hoax and 9/11 was a U.S. government plot — and a temporary boycott by advertiser J.P. Morgan Chase, sources say the network is considering scaling back Megyn’s airtime on Today to tamp down on the uproar. “This has been a huge public relations problem for them,” says an insider of NBC’s top brass. “They’re paying her tens of millions of dollars, and right out of the gate she’s causing controversy.”
