Oh, what a year it's been for Melissa McCarthy! Last night on the Oscars red carpet, the star of Mike & Molly talked to reporters about her smash hit on the silver screen.

When it comes to Bridesmaids, she dished, "It was so ridiculous from start to finish. It was just a blast."
And how about being nominated for Best Supporting Actress as a comedian? It is a rarity for the Academy to nominate comics. "It's surreal," she said. "You can never anticipate or expect it. I still can't wrap my head around it."

Although she didn't win the coveted prize, Melissa definitely had some memorable moments! While presenting with co-star Rose Byrne, they played a Martin Scorcese drinking game as introduced at the SAG Awards last month. Someone from the audience yelled, "Scorcese" and they both promptly pulled a little flask from their cleavage and took a swig!

Melissa admitted to reporters ahead of time she was battling some nerves. "Oh the presenting. I don't want to screw up someone else's moment. I don't want to say their name wrong."
Looks like she did just fine!
