Mel Gibson allegedly sent his girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva an apology email the morning after she claims he punched her twice in the head.

Mel's lawyers deny he hit Oksana, but Radar Online reports that Oksana told law enforcement authorities Mel punched her in the mouth and the left temple as she held their infant daughter, Lucia.
Now, Radar Online reports that authorities have an email apology from Mel to Oksana that was sent the morning after the alleged altercation.

At 8:38 a.m., Mel allegedly emailed Oksana, "How's your tooth?"
“Could you please call me," Mel wrote later at 9:50 a.m. on Jan. 7. "I want to tell you how unspeakably sorry I am."

According to Radar Online, this email evidence could be used by authorities in their three investigation and make it difficult for Mel to deny the violence.
