Meredith Vieira's 'Today' Show Replacement Ann Curry Says "She is a Woman to Love"

Meredith Vieira's Today show replacement Ann Curry took part in all the send-off festivities for her pal this morning, making her last day on the set of the NBC morning program memorable. Ann also turned to her Twitter to send a special message this morning to her followers and Meredith.
"Already emotional at 7:01am on the TODAYshow on Meredith's last day. She is a woman to LOVE." Ann Tweeted.
And judging by all the support surrounding Meredith on her last day, she certainly is very, very loved.

One month ago, Meredith announced she would be leaving Today to spend more time with her family.
The same day (May 9) she also congratulated and welcomed Ann, who will be filling her co-anchor spot.
“You’ve been a gift to this broadcast. You have been generous and you have been a great girlfriend," Ann shared.

During her farewell, Meredith said to her fellow co-hosts: “This is a job I love. From the moment I came here everybody embraced me and they made me feel like I was part of this family.”
“It’s hard,” she added. “It’s hard to leave your other family and that’s what I’m doing.”
