Michael Gough, 'Batman' Star, Dies at 94

Actor Michael Gough from Batman fame (he starred as the loyal butler, Alfred Pennyworth in four movies), died yesterday. The character actor who made appearances in more than 100 films was 94.

PopEater reports Michael launched his career in 1947 with Blanche Fury and is perhaps most known for his role in Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever and Batman and Robin from 1989 until 1997.
