MICHAEL J. FOX, SUSAN SARANDON STEP OUT FOR ROCK HALL INDUCTIONS

joined son Sam, 17, for a night out at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Monday at New York's Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The 45-year-old actor, who suffers from Parkinson's Disease, told OK! he's doing 'pretty good' backstage in the On 3 productions gift lounge. He mentioned his favorite gift was a Luz ring created especially for the event.'I'm excited to see R.E.M., I've never seen R.E.M. live,' the 'Spin City' star told OK! 'It's one of the few bands I haven't seen live of that generation. I'm really excited to hear Eddie Vedder speak and see Patti Smith.'Also backstage was Susan Sarandon, whose son Miles, 14, set off her ringtone by the rapper Common. 'I was sitting next to Common the other day and it went off with him singing,' Susan said. 'How weird is that? I love him. He said ëthat's me!' and I said ëOh my God, that is you!' I hadn't even known him before we were at 's birthday party. He came in late, and I didn't realize he was who he was, and then my phone went off and I was like ëoh that is you.'' picked up swag with supermodel , who paused before she answered 'friends' when asked if they were together. -Valerie Nome
