Michael Lohan "Clears Schedule" for Lindsay

In the midst of her break-up woes with ex Samantha Ronson, Lindsay Lohan's chatty dad Michael Lohan thinks he can help. The supportive papa has even put aside his no doubt numerous commitments to fly to his daughter's aid.

"Breakups are never pretty and they're never easy. I'm here for Lindsay any time," he tells Extra. "I've cleared my schedule to go meet her in L.A. I hope Dina takes good care of her in the meantime."

Lilo's definitely going to need a support system in place, especially since Sam's sister Charlotte Ronson and mom Ann Dexter-Jones are looking into getting a restraining order against her to keep her from Sam, as OK! reported last night.

"At a time like this she needs someone standing by her side," says Michael, taking his chance to get in a dig at his ex-wife at the same time, by adding, "It's about time she had both parents with her, without Dina driving a wedge between us. It's time for Lindsay to resurrect her life and career."
