Olympic hero, Michael Phelps, 23, is as famous for rocking a Speedo as he is for winning 8 straight gold medals at the Beijing Olympics.

The previous night, the champ and his entourage of more than 20 partied the night away at the Palms Casino Resort's Playboy Club, where an onlooker tells OK!, "He was all smiles. He enjoyed chatting it up with the Playboy bunnies.

Next up for Phelps? A well-deserved homecoming to be held on Oct. 4 in Baltimore, Md. The Olympic champ and fellow swimmer Katie Hoff will be thrown in their honor, including an afternoon parade that will head south toward the neighborhood Phelps grew up in and where his mother, Debbie, still lives.
