Michelle Williams Lands Glinda Role in 'Oz' Prequel

Michelle Williams' acting chops just landed her an iconic role as Glinda, the good witch in a prequel to The Wizard of Oz! If she ends up signing on the dotted line, she'll join Hollywood heavyweights James Franco and Mila Kunis who are already on board. Find out more after the jump!

According to Reuters, Michelle has officially received the offer to play the good witch Sam Raini's film, Oz: The Great and Powerful. In an interesting story twist as the prequel to The Wizard of Oz, Mila will play Theadora who's actually a witch who falls for James. Rachel Weisz is in talks to play Evanora, a bad witch who tries to seduce Theadora to a dark side.
